Design Leadership Network
The Design Leadership Network (DLN) champions community, collaboration, growth, and best practices in the high-end design industry by creating tailored experiences, educational programs, and resources for its members who are principals of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture firms, affiliated disciplines, media partners, and corporate leaders. Members are interior designers, architects, and landscape architects who are highly accomplished in their field and truly passionate about the Design and Architecture Industry.
A Georgia Zikas Design project is included in the first-ever edition of the DLN's book,

AD Pro Directory
The AD PRO Directory is the ultimate resource for connecting homeowners and renovators with a roster of trusted design talent curated by AD editors. Featuring interior designers and decorators, architects, and landscape specialists, the Directory highlights top professionals with a range of specializations and aesthetic sensibilities, all of whom are vetted by AD editors to ensure exceptional quality.
Design on a Dime
Design on a Dime, founded in 2004 by Designer James Huniford, invites the top interior designers in the nation to create unique room vignettes curated with donated merchandise from well-known home decor brands at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Design on a Dime supports the Housing Works' mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS. In 2024 Georgia Zikas Design earned acclaim for the "Olive Branch Room" at Design on a Dime. Biophilic design and the understanding that we as humans are innately connected to nature is a defining element of the "Olive Branch Room."
IFDA
The International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) is the only all-industry association whose members provide services and products to the furnishings and design industry. This organization is the driving force, through its programs and services, to enhance the professionalism and stature of the industry worldwide. As the "voice" of the total furnishings and design industry, IFDA provides its members with the tools and resources to enhance their businesses. Aggressive advocacy promotes the advantages of working with a professional. IFDA welcomes members from every facet of the furnishings and design industry. Members are executives and companies professionally engaged in the design, production, distribution, promotion, communication or education in the furnishings and design and/or related industries.
NCIDQ
The Council for Interior Design Qualification (CIDQ) awards this NCIDQ Certification to designers who demonstrate proficiency in interior design principles and commitment to the profession. The exam to earn this certification tests designers on their knowledge of interior designs’ core components: building systems, codes, construction standards, contract administration, design application, professional practice and project coordination.
LEED rating system
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification provides “a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings, which offer environmental, social and governance benefits.” Georgia Zikas Design is proud to have our work recognized by this organization that earned us our LEED Certified status.
