About Georgia zikas
Founder & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Georgia Zikas is the Founder and Principal Designer of Georgia Zikas Design, a full-service interior design firm creating classically inspired, deeply personal homes throughout New England, the Northeast, and beyond.
A Massachusetts native, Georgia began her career in New York City after studying at the New York School of Interior Design. She joined AD100 firm Gomez Associates in Manhattan, where she developed an enduring appreciation for antiques, architectural detail, fine art, craftsmanship, and interiors that feel collected over time. More than two decades later, those principles remain central to her work.
Georgia believes the most successful homes begin with listening. Her background in communications, combined with her design training and experience, has shaped a highly personal approach to her practice. She seeks to understand how her clients live, what they value, how they gather, and what they want their homes to mean to their families for years to come.
For Georgia, a home is more than a collection of beautiful rooms. It is the setting for family dinners, holidays, celebrations, quiet mornings, returning children, future grandchildren, and the traditions that take shape over a lifetime.
Trust, integrity, communication, and kindness are equally fundamental to her work. Georgia has built lasting relationships with clients, architects, builders, artisans, and craftspeople who share her commitment to thoughtful design and exceptional quality.
Today, Georgia leads her team from the firm's Boston studio, designing primary residences, country homes, coastal properties, city residences, and estates.
Outside of the studio, Georgia is a wife and mother of two daughters. Family, faith, tradition, community, and treating people well are the values that shape how she lives, how she leads, and ultimately, how she designs. For Georgia, great design is not simply about creating a beautiful home. It is about creating a place that holds a beautiful life.
